Mexican beer Corona, the most valuable brand in Latin America

It is the best-selling Mexican beer in the world since 1925. It was first brewed in Mexico and almost a century later is still produced there, although it is present in more than 180 countries and known worldwide for its lime ritual, it is the number one premium import beer in more than 45 countries.

A brand that also occupies first place in the ranking of the 100 most valuable brands in Latin America published annually by the independent international consultancy Brand Finance, which also shows that Corona is also the leader in the beer sector ranking and in Mexico, its country of origin.

According to the Brand Finance Latam 2021 ranking, Corona remains the most valuable brand in Latin America with a value of US$5,882 million, 27.8% less than in 2020. The Mexican beer brand has more than doubled its brand value since 2017 from US$2.13 billion in 2017 to US$4.957 billion in 2021.
